So I got weighed this morning, I was extremely excited as I’ve had such a fantastic week and not gone over my syns (One day I did but I ‘borrowed’ syns from the previous day and I’ve been told that this is allowed).

As a child (In my day lol) we always went out, as soon as we were awake we went off and had to be home when the street lights came on. Nowadays kids are on their computers, mobile phones etc and my kids are no exception.
Our son has an unhealthy addiction to the computer which I’ve now had to put a time limit on as it’s not right. He should be outside playing or building and smashing blocks etc.
My daughter is 8 going on 14 with all the temper tantrums, slamming of doors and answering back.
One thing I can’t understand is when they do play out they can be out all day just riding around and around on scooters and bikes etc and they don’t get knackered! Come to think of it, I never got knackered as a child. So why do we get tired now? If only I can be at the Gym for 8 hours a day and not be knackered lol.
So, I can be a bit obsessive with cleaning and perfection and I do have days when I’m ‘normal’ like everyone else.
I’m very open now with the fact I have suffered depression and that I’m still on tablets. When on the tablets I find I’m not so obsessed with things, however, if I don’t take them then I become a freak. Continue reading
Despite being overweight I do actually enjoy exercise. I love to walk, I love swimming and I love the gym. I don’t particularly enjoy running but WHEN I become slimmer I will indeed undertake the horrible activity. Continue reading
I’m finding it a little difficult when I’m out and about trying to keep with the slimming World Diet. I’m managing it but I need to research when going to new areas.
I’m finding that most places are accommodating and will make something off of the menu as long as they have the ingredients which is good. Such as asking for a plate of salad instead of a salad sandwich, or asking for bacon to be grilled not fried. Continue reading
